While for 15 years the minimum wage in Pennsylvania has remained stagnant\, the cost of basic necessities like healthcare\, childcare\, housing\, utilities\, and food have all risen.\nFor over a year\, Senator Devlin Robinson\, chair of the Senate Labor and Industry Committee\, has failed to advance minimum wage legislation HB1500\, which passed out of the PA House in 2023. With only a few days left in this legislative session\, it is time to get HB1500 passed out of the PA Senate and to the Governor’s desk.
