Dauphin County Mobilization Training | Implement a notice and cure program! VIRTUAL TRAINING: August 13 at 6:30 pm At an upcoming meeting, the Dauphin County board of elections may consider an important pro-voter policy for November’s election: a notice and cure program. In the 2024 primary, in Dauphin County, 296 mail ballots were not counted and in the 2023 General Election, similarly 109 ballots were not counted. These voters were disenfranchised because they were not notified nor were they allowed to fix their mistakes on their mail-in ballot's return envelope. Dauphin residents and voters deserve better. And we need your help to make sure a notice and cure policy is both considered AND enacted in Dauphin. Adopting a robust notice and cure program would make Dauphin County’s elections more safe, secure, and accurate by giving eligible, active voters the opportunity to correct any minor mistakes on their mail ballot packet and ensure that their vote is counted.
