    The stakes are high for Pennsylvanians as Gov. Shapiro and the General Assembly begin to negotiate a state budget for 2026–27! RSVP NOW and join us online at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3,  to find out how it could impact you, your loved ones, your neighborhood, and every community in the state — and the opportunities to stand together and take action! In less than 2 weeks, at noon on Tuesday, 2/3, the governor delivers his 2026 Budget Address to a joint session of the state Senate & House, outlining his plan for funding education, transportation, childcare, and other crucial services that Pennsylvanians deserve. Shortly after Gov. Shapiro's address concludes, PA Policy Center will host an online discussion with leaders in advocacy efforts, offering their reactions & responses to Gov. Shapiro's proposed budget for 2026–27.
