Trump, Musk, and Republicans in Congress, like Scott Perry, are attempting to pass a budget that will slash hundreds of billions of dollars from essential programs, including up to $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid— all to fund tax cuts for the ultra-rich. While they passed a budget blueprint in the House, the budget process requires agreement between the House and Senate, and lots of details still have to be worked out in committee. So the fight is far from over! Rep. Perry won’t show up to hear from his constituents about how these reckless Medicaid cuts will impact our lives—so we’re hosting our own town hall. Join your neighbors to hear from people directly affected, share your own story about what’s at stake, and learn how we can fight back together. Our healthcare is on the line, and our voices matter.
